My art-making has evolved over several years to include mixed media collage and abstract painting. I have a particular interest in narrative, expression, color, pattern, music, and texture. I began concentrating on small works on paper, but have expanded my works to wood and canvas. I find art history, post-modernism, music, and popular culture inspring. Alongside these, I am influenced by my surroundings, including the sea and the landscape of southern California.
